Huang Yijun, aged 92, is from southern China and she recently made news in 2009 after delivering a baby known as a lithopedion, aka ‘Stone Baby’.
Huang Yijun told the press she didn’t have the money to have her fetus removed after doctors told her it had died inside her in 1948.
So she simply did nothing at all about it.
Lithopedion is a very rare medical phenomenon, which occurs when a pregnancy fails and the fetus actually calcifies while still in the mother’s body.
Medically speaking, what often happens is the implanted fetus gets to an advanced stage before it dies. Too large to be absorbed by the body, the remains of the child or its surrounding amniotic sac slowly calcify, turning to stone as a way to protect the woman’s body from infection from the decomposing tissue.
If no complications occur, believe it or not, the mother can basically just go on with her life.
According to the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine, only 290 cases of lithopedions have ever been documented by medical literature.

Five Jamaican athletes, including two Olympic
medallists, have tested positive for banned performance-enhancing drugs,
according to the country's anti-doping authority.
Herb Elliott, chairman of the Jamaican Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO),
confirmed the body had received "reports of adverse analytical findings
from 'A' samples."
He said: "The process of the result management has commenced in accordance with the JADCO anti-doping rules.
"We cannot disclose any further information until the athletes have responded to notification of the 'A' sample."
Sprinter Asafa Powell was revealed to be one of the athletes after his management company confirmed he had failed a drugs test.

Powell's agent Paul Doyle confirmed the former 100m world record holder had tested positive for a banned substance.
The 30-year-old has won gold medals in the 4x100m relay at the Olympics
and World Championships and is a former world record holder.
Sources told Reuters that two of the athletes were sprinters while
three competed in field events. They added that one of the athletes was a
junior.
Last month, Jamaica's most successful female athlete Veronica
Campbell-Brown tested positive for a diuretic, which can be used to mask
the use of performancing-enhancing drugs.
The twice Olympic 200 metres champion has been suspended by the
Jamaican Athletics Administrative Association pending the outcome of a
disciplinary panel hearing.
It comes after former double sprint world champion Tyson Gay announced
on Sunday that he had tested positive for a substance he could not
identify and was withdrawing from next month's world championships in
Moscow.
The American, who had the year's fastest 100 metre time of 9.75
seconds, said he was notified by the US Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) on
Friday that his A sample from an out-of-competition test on May 16 had
returned a positive.
He said: "I don't have a sabotage story. I don't have lies... I basically put my trust in someone and I was let down.
"I made a mistake."
A Nigerian gang forced women into street prostitution in Spain by burning them with irons and using voodoo rituals, according to police.
Detectives have arrested six Nigerian nationals - including the suspected woman ringleader - as part of an investigation launched last year after one of the prostitutes filed a complaint with the authorities.
"The control exercised over women was total, involving verbal threats as well as physical violence and various voodoo ceremonies to terrorise them," police said in a statement.
"The ring caused them serious injury through bites or by using an iron to cause second-degree burns."
The ring allegedly recruited women in Benin City, a run-down Nigerian port, whose husbands and fathers had died and who were struggling to raise their children.
They transported the women overland to Morocco and then smuggled them on small wooden boats into Spain where they were forced to work as street prostitutes in Barcelona and Malaga.
Spanish police have swooped several times in recent years on similar prostitution rings that used the threat of voodoo curses to frighten their victims into obedience.
Before leaving Nigeria, the rings often take their victims to shrines where they swear to pay their debts to the group and not to denounce them to the police.
The women leave fingernails, hair, underwear and other personal items at the shrines which they are told will give voodoo priests the power to harm them wherever they are in the world.

One of the strongest tornadoes ever recorded has ripped through Oklahoma City, killing at least 51 people - 20 of them children - and destroying everything in its path.
The ferocious tornado flattened entire neighbourhoods in the southern suburb of Moore with winds of up to 200 mph, rendering thousands of people homeless, leaving buildings on fire and landing a direct blow to a school.
Several children were pulled alive from the wreckage of Plaza Towers Elementary School after the devastating, mile-wide tornado reduced the building to heaps of rubble and twisted metal.
Rescuers passed the children down a "human chain" to get them to medical personnel for treatment.
A second elementary school, Briarwood, was also hit but did not appear to have sustained casualties. Moore's hospital was also badly damaged.
Emergency crews pledged to work through the night across the city to look for survivors, amid reports that another, smaller, storm was on its way to the town of 55,000 people.
